It's that time of year: All Der Projects!
I apologize for the long radio silence. School has been very demanding this semester so I have had little free time to be able to blog or even do any fine art or sewing/embroidering. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining whatsoever, I am happy with the workload that I have been dealing with. There was one day where I did burn out and was just completely exhausted - didn't help that I was also very sick that day. So I decided that staying home and just laying on the couch, eating homemade chicken soup was what I needed, and boy was that the right decision. My creative energy is back up to full and I have been having a lot of fun with all the assignments that have been given out the last few weeks.
But now...the infamous time of year has come: All Der Final Projects! So I am going to apologize again because I will be VERY preoccupied with working on all of my final projects for my classes. Only 3 more weeks left of the semester! I am getting both excited for it to be the end of the semester, but also nervous. Next semester will be my last semester at MxCC. I will be graduating with 2 A.A degrees - one in Graphic Design, the other in Multimedia. I have already registered for the spring semester and my class load is once again nice and full. These are the classes that I will be taking:
• Advanced Multimedia Production
• Motion Graphics and Effects
• Advanced Graphic Design
• Interactive Multimedia Production
• Graphic Design Internship
I feel that this coming semester will be just as rigorous as this current one, but I am looking forward to learning more skills that I can add to my resume. I am in the process of putting together my resume and searching around for design firms that are accepting interns and applying for those positions. I find a few nice firms right here in Middletown that caught my eye because they also do photography and fine art pieces. Here's to hoping they are taking interns!
And with that said, I am off to work on more schoolwork. I of course will post the final images of my final projects when they are completed and actually blog about them more in depth then I have in the past. See you all in 3 weeks!
